FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
We will not answer questions that have already been answered in this page. If you're here and reading this, then you don't have to worry about that. We try to address all of the most common questions and concerns on this page.
Q: Who makes your layouts, images, web-site, content, etc?
A: Our content here is 100% original. Everything you see on this web-site was put together by the Unwritten Layouts team.
Q: How do I make a layout web-site?
A: We get asked this all of the time! Maybe in the future we will write a more in-depth guide. In a nutshell, there are 3 main ingredients to a web-site design: Graphics, HTML, and CSS. This is only the first step of a long marathon. A successful web-site is based heavily off of its content, and not so much its design. It's not something you can just do... Our team is all very experienced, and some of our members have been studying web-design for over a decade. If you don't have any experience, start learning today, and realistically, you will have an infant of a layout site in 2 or 3 years.
Q: Can you turn this image into a layout? Can you make me a custom layout?
A: Though we wish we were able to provide such an extraordinary service, unfortunately it would be impossible to keep up with even a small fraction of requests. HOWEVER, we have not completely closed the door on this idea. In the future when our team grows, we may implement a similar type of service.
Q: How do you make that image? How can I get those colors on my photos?
A: Photoshop. For the most part, Photoshop can achieve any results you are looking for from making professional web graphics, to turning a web-cam photo into a professional model shot. It is a whole world in its own, and there are plenty of tutorial sites on the internet. The software can be quite expensive, but there are trial-versions available for download.
Q: How do I contact you? You won't respond to my messages or comments on MySpace!
A: We usually do try to read all of our comments on MySpace, however, it would be impossible for us to reply to so many. There is a way to contact us. Email jembry13@gmail.com. We do answer all legitimate questions, or otherwise messages "worthy of reply."
Q: Are your layouts totally free?
A: Our layouts don't cost you anything, and never will. You can always access content for free. The only thing we ask in exchange that you keep the links back to Unwritten Layouts.
Q: Do you have codes to hide the link back to a site you got layouts from? How do I remove the links and banners for Unwritten Layouts?
A: You don't. This is against copyright law and to make a long story short, you can get in serious legal trouble with more people than you ever wanted to be.
Q: So I've got some knowledge of CSS and/or HTML. Can I tweak your layouts or codes to my liking?
A: You sure can, but you MUST keep the links back to Unwritten Layouts.
Q: I've got a question that isn't in the F.A.Q!
A: This has already been answered in an earlier question, and is intentionally redundant to emphasize that you can contact us via email: jembry13@gmail.com.
